Introduction

Fleet Manager is a powerful tool that allows the user build and save a list of equipment. Each model has the following information stored with it:

• Unique equipment ID consisting of a user-defined name, serial number, year of manufacture and equipment specific notes.
• Rental Rate Blue Book adjustments such as Age, Region, and user defined adjustments.
• Custom Cost Evaluator adjustments
• Green Guide adjustments

Multiple fleets can be created and once a fleet is created, equipment can be added, deleted, copied or moved to other fleets. Fleets themselves can be copied and deleted, and there are also a series of standard Fleet reports that can be printed or exported.

Perhaps the most powerful feature of Fleets however, is that adjustments can be set at the fleet level that will apply to every piece of equipment in that fleet. This allows the user to quickly evaluate changes to working conditions or unit costs, on the Ownership and Operating rates for every piece of equipment in his/her fleet. As the user gets more comfortable with the capabilities of Fleet Manager, many more applications can be devised that will ultimately help the equipment owner and job owner alike, make more informed business decisions.
